This place is a balanced option for a fleeting pause in Bentota with outstanding value. The staff went out of their way to decorate our room for our anniversary, which made our stay even more special. Make sure to communicate any special occasions in advance for personalized touches.

Beautifully designed space with a perfect blend of architecture and nature, reflecting Geoffrey Bawa's vision. The two expansive pools boast clear water, minimal chlorine, and are well-maintained, ensuring a refreshing swim experience.
The beach experience can be tricky due to strong currents, making swimming risky for those not experienced. The hotel seems to attract large groups, sometimes leading to overcrowded areas, particularly during weekends. Some room maintenance quirks, like towel rail placements, may irk perfectionists, though fresh towels are always available on request.

The food was a real feast—each bite bursting with local flavors that felt like a warm hug! Can't forget the friendly staff, especially Clive and Chaminda, who made our stay feel like home. The spa was a cherry on top, allowing for some much-needed pampering by the sea.
Unfortunately, we did have a rambunctious group of kids that made a bit of noise upon arrival, but the solid service and comforting vibes still made it a great experience.
